Halal Restaurants in Da Nang 2026: 8 Certified Places, Halal Pho & Prayer Rooms

Is there halal food in Da Nang? Yes – plenty. In October 2026, eight restaurants in Da Nang held a current Halal Vietnam (HVN) certificate: Royale Lounge, Istanbul Anatolian Kebab House, Lazeez Indian Halal, Istanbul Gourmet, both branches of Pho Hub (halal pho), Sultan Istanbul Kebab and Yalla Halal. At least a dozen more Muslim-run restaurants describe themselves as halal, from Malaysian to Pakistani and Central Asian. Most are in two clusters: Tran Hung Dao Street in Son Tra, where the city’s main prayer room is, and the My An – An Thuong area behind My Khe Beach. Several well-known Indian restaurants serve alcohol, so we list them separately.

We started from every restaurant in Da Nang that calls itself halal on Google Maps, Tripadvisor and halal guides, checked the Halal Vietnam (HVN) certificate register, and checked Tripadvisor for restaurants that serve alcohol. Restaurants with a current HVN certificate come first; Muslim-run, self-declared halal restaurants with no sign of alcohol come second; restaurants with halal meat that serve alcohol are listed separately. Within each group, ranking uses Tripadvisor first (weighted by number of reviews), then Google Maps. We show ratings, not review counts.

Halal Food at Ba Na Hills

Sun World says Bharata, an Indian restaurant in the French Village at Ba Na Hills, is its halal-certified restaurant. It opens for lunch, roughly 10:30 to 15:00; the certifying body is not named. There is also a prayer room at Ba Na Hills. Plan your cable car ride so that you can eat lunch there.

Where to Pray in Da Nang

• Surau at Halal Food Karim, 186 Tran Hung Dao, Son Tra (second floor) – the main prayer space for Muslims in Da Nang; Friday prayers are reported to be held here. There is no purpose-built mosque in Da Nang.
• Da Nang International Airport – a Muslim prayer room in the terminal.
• Ba Na Hills – a prayer room in the French Village.

Halal Food in Hoi An

Hoi An, about 30 to 45 minutes from Da Nang, has a few halal-labelled restaurants, but we could not confirm a current halal certificate for any of them, and popular Indian restaurants in the old town serve alcohol. Most Muslim travellers visit Hoi An for the afternoon and evening and eat dinner at a certified restaurant in Da Nang.

Not in ordinary restaurants. Mi Quang, the signature noodle dish of Da Nang, is usually made with pork, shrimp and non-halal chicken.
